He was a columnist for the Evening Gazette, a paper which is part of the Trinity-Mirror Group. He wrote a bi-weekly column for nearly two years until the BBC stopped news presenters from regularly contributing to the press.
Matt
is a BBC trained journalist and has written thousands of q & a cues
in his time as well as online articles for the BBC. On the other hand
he's also been mentored by three time Emmy award winning animation
writer Jeffrey Scott (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Super-Friends, Spiderman, Jim Henson's Muppet Babies).
Matthew wrote a short film which actor David Sterne (Wolfman, Pirates of the Caribbean) instantly signed upto.
Matthew has written for Jamie Theakston’s Breakfast Show on Heart Radio in London, written and co-directed a children’s audio guide called ‘The Eye Spy' and written a one hour radio drama called ‘Yellow Coal’ which the BBC said was “a fluently written, focused script.”
Matthew has written courses on building confidence and presentation skills. He is now writing a book on the subject. |
